Profile

I’m René Schalli, a full-stack developer and media designer based in Villach.

I work as a software engineer at Anexia while also working independently and developing products of my own.

My background spans IT systems, fiber-optic infrastructure and B2B support through to full-stack development. I also built my own mead brand from the ground up — including the product, branding, photography and online store. That combination of engineering, design and entrepreneurial thinking continues to shape my work today.

Can a Viking society’s website feel like a graphic novel you step into?
EXPERIMENT
You sail in by longship through the fjord up to the village square. The scenes are partly real photos that an AI turns into the graphic-novel style, staged with GSAP.

EXPERIMENT
A WebGL engine of my own: every page is a wall of cubes, and navigating rolls it over the edge. No framework, no external script.

Cinema Machine: Camera language for AI video

EXPERIMENT
Over 850 film terms in 23 categories to pick from. They become the right prompt for each platform, and a Chrome extension inserts it directly.

ArtistHub: The website that keeps itself up to date

EXPERIMENT
A Telegram bot takes it all: the AI turns one sentence into a date, writes the bio, tends the gallery. Then the site rebuilds itself.

SkalGain: Training with a safety limit

Can an app guide training so you keep at it regularly instead of overdoing it?
EXPERIMENT
A native Android app for the plan, sets with a rest timer, nutrition and daily values. Progress stays within fixed limits, and it all runs offline.
